The Bahamas have long been a buzzy destination. Most recently, Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce stayed at the $15,000 per night Rosalita House on Harbour Island in late March, while Baha Mar resort in Nassau has hosted Mariah Carey, Future, and Liev Schreiber, whose son Sasha earned his scuba certification during a stay last year.
The 1000-acre Baha Mar resort boasts a members-only Nexus club founded by Justin Timberlake, Ernie Els and Tiger Woods, plus the $200 million, 15-acre Baha Bay water park, which opened in 2021 with multiple eateries and an 818 Shack from Kendall Jenner’s tequila brand.

Now, just before The Derek Jeter Invitational golf tournament tees off, Baha Mar is teaming up with Gwyneth Paltrow‘s lifestyle brand Goop to kick off a Wellness Weekend from September 13 to 15 that anyone can book; packages start at $1,500.
This marks Goop‘s second collaborative travel partnership, following Goop at Sea in 2022, a wellness retreat with Celebrity Cruises on the luxury ship, Celebrity Beyond. That nine-night excursion from Barcelona to France and Italy built on Paltrow’s role as Celebrity’s well-being advisor in which she curated wellness offerings for the cruise ships.
During the upcoming three-day Wellness Weekend at Baha Mar, guests can choose to stay at one of the resort’s three hotels (Grand Hyatt, SLS or Rosewood). While Paltrow herself does not plan to be present, the brand has handpicked an array of experiences with Goop-approved instructors. Among them is celebrity fitness trainer and choreographer Isaac Boots, leading his energetic Torch’d workouts loved by the likes of Paltrow, Priyanka Chopra Jonas and Jessica Chastain.
“I was a dancer on Broadway for 12 years; that’s where I created my first relationships with people like Brooke Shields, choreographed a one-man show for Hugh Jackman and performed on the Tony Awards with Liza Minnelli,” Boots, who danced in Mamma Mia! and West Side Story, tells THR. “Torch’d is a flow of targeted reps, a lot of core work, things that I did as a professional dancer who was performing eight shows a week to stay lean, to stay smashed and still be able to do Jerome Robbins choreography every night. So you can’t be debilitated. You feel vibrant. You ultimately use the space of your body. It was born by training actors who are on set and in their trailer.”

Beyond a daily Torch’d workout, the itinerary includes morning sessions with wellness coach Koya Webb that combine yoga flow or breath work with sound bath healing, aromatherapy, meditation and affirmation setting. Webb (whose clients have included Gabrielle Union and Dwyane Wade, Stevie Wonder and Ashley Judd) tells THR: “Baha Mar is an epic resort that so embodies nature, which by itself raises your vibration. Everywhere you walk, you’re passing through lush gardens and infinity pools and beautiful views. So to be able to guide people through practices in this setting enhances the healing properties of everything I teach. Gwyneth and her company are always trying new modalities, and I’m grateful that I can facilitate some of these experiences, because I really love seeing people light up.”
The Wellness Weekend package additionally includes a massage at the 30,000-square-foot ESPA (the largest spa in Nassau), a sunset catamaran cruise and an afternoon at the Nexus club. There are sure to be goodies from Baha Mar and Goop Beauty as well as signature Goop drinks and snacks such as Carrot Orange Margaritas, zero-proof Spicy Cilantro Lemonade, Date Balls, Detox Granola Bars and a variety of smoothies. Guests can choose to dine on Saturday and Sunday at one of three restaurants on the property or partake in a Bahamian cooking class in Baha Mar’s culinary learning center The Kitchen.
Other surprises during the weekend may include a traditional Junkanoo parade of folk dancers and appearances from flamingos living in a sanctuary on site.
